The Journal of Baha’i Studies, Volume 16, 2008 Available

Journal of Baha'i Studies

The Ottawa based Association for Baha’i Studies North America, produces one of the longest running scholarly periodicals in the Western Hemisphere, has released another combined issue of the journal, rolling up the articles for  Volume 16 No’s 1-4, and published in 2008. The journal is available in print format from the Association for Baha’i Studies as a benefit of membership and selected back issues are available from the Associations website as well.

The Contents of the issue include:

  • The 20th Hasan Balyuzi Memorial Lecture by Udo Schaefer ‘Some Aspects of Baha’i Ethics”;
  • Graham Hassall, The Origins of the Baha’i Faith in the Pacific Islands: The Case of the Gilbert and Ellice Islands;
  • Janet A. Khan, Research Note: Louise Dixon Boyle and Maria Montessori.
  • Lynnn Echevarria, Review of The Equality of Women and Men: The Experience of the Baha’i Community of Canda, by Deborah K van den Hoonard and Will C van den Hoonard and
  • Richard Thomas, Review of the The Last War, Racism, Spirituality and the Future of Civilisation by M.L. Perry
