Irfan Colloquium, ‘Baha’i Belief System and Challenges Facing Humankind’, Michigan October 14, 2007

IRFAN COLLOQUIUM invites you to a three day intellectual retreat: BAHA’I BELIEF SYSTEM AND CHALLENGES FACING HUMANKIND. Irfan Colloquium, conducted simultaneously in English and Persian in two separate halls, offers a series of presentations of scholarly studies on the fundamental principles of the Baha’i belief system, the writings of the Central Figures of the Baha’i Faith, and the interface of the Baha’i Faith and current trends in the world. It provides a unique opportunity to meet and associate with Baha’i scholars and plan collaboration in the Baha’i studies. Participants receive a set of the Irfan publications. The program includes presentations and dialogue on topics such as:

The Spiritual Quest for Identity: Reframing Race, Sexuality and Gender, Postmodernism and the Baha’i Faith,  Heart, Brain and Spirit Relativism and the Baha’i Writings, Towards a Theory of Baha’i Jurisprudence ,Confucianism and the Baha’i Faith, A Baha’i before Baha’u'llah, and initiate of “The Greatest Name of God”. www.irfancolloquium.org
