Baha'i Legal Conference 2008Call For Papers -Australian Bahá’í Legal Conference 2008 The Australian Bahá’í Legal Conference Taskforce is now accepting abstracts for the second bi-annual Conference to be held in February 2008.

When: Friday, 15th February – Sunday 17th February, 2008,
Where: Yerrinbool Bahá’í Centre of Learning, Yerrinbool, NSW
Theme: “The Advancement of Law, Ethics and Justice”
Topic categories include:

    * Situation of the Bahá’ís in Iran and Egypt  * Human Rights in Australia * New World Order of Baha’u’llah * Privacy  * Mediation, Conciliation and its Relationship with Baha’i Consultation * Intellectual Property and/or Indigenous laws * Moral and Professional Development in the Corporate World * The Death Penalty * Crime and Punishment: Perspectives * Equality Between the Sexes: Towards Justice  * Other

Your abstract will need to include:  * Your name and biographical information (100-200 words) * The likely topic of your presentation/workshop  * A summary of the proposed presentation/workshop (300 words)  * Who your presentation/workshop is likely to interest (some keywords)

Submissions for abstracts due by Friday 5pm (E.S.T) 29th September, 2007.  Presenters will be contacted by Monday 5pm (E.S.T) 15th October, 2007. Submissions to be sent in word format to: legalconference@gmail.com or alternatively venus9@gmail.com.
