New biography of Founder of the Baha’i Faith

Oneworld Publications have published a new biography of Baha’u'llah by prolific writer Moojan Momen.

Baha’u'llah: A Short Biography
(Oxford:OneWorld, 2007) is the first major biographical treatment of  Baha’u'llah since several works were released around the time of the centenary of Baha’u'llah’s death in 1992 . Momen’s work differs in that he has utilised a much greater number of primary resources in print and manuscript than any author since the last major biography, Hasan Balyuzi’s Baha’u'llah: The King of Glory more than 25 years ago. So this is much welcomed by the student of Baha’u'llah’s life. The book follows a fairly conventional chronological sequence based on well known periods or phases in Baha’u'llahs exiles and residences. This is followed by concise chapters on the writing, teachings and claims of Baha’u'llah. It is well indexed and it is a great starting point for a readable 200 pages on Baha’u'llah and his
most interesting life. It is shipping now from many online booksellers.
